At Flatrock, our mission is simple yet powerful: To provide a sanctuary to everyone. The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator plays a key part in sharing those beautiful, authentic stories with our community through modern social media and video content.
Candidates must provide a portfolio or video reel during the application process.
What We Offer You:
Salary range: Starting from $60,000/annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
Travel: Light-medium local travel to visit care homes.

What You'll Do:
  • On-Site Video Production: Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality, engaging short-form video content highlighting programs, events, and daily resident life at Flatrock.
  • Content Curation & Storytelling: Develop a consistent, weekly content calendar that brings our mission to life across all major social media platforms.
  • Brand Voice & Community Engagement: Maintain a consistent, empathetic, and unified brand voice. Monitor channels, reply to comments, and actively build our digital community.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and track paid social media and advertising initiatives to increase brand awareness.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze social metrics and report engagement to continuously improve our content strategy.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with social media video trends, popular audio, and platform algorithm changes to keep Flatrock relevant.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience managing brand social media channels with a strong focus on digital video production.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Video Editing Skills: Hands-on experience editing video on mobile or desktop platforms such as CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
  • Empathetic Storytelling: Ability to tell meaningful, resident-centered stories with compassion, dignity, and respect while connecting Flatrock’s mission to the broader community.
  • Eye for Content: Ability to identify great stories on the ground and comfortably interview staff/residents to capture authentic moments.
  • Communication: Excellent writing, copy editing, and storytelling skills.
