Information Technology Operations Manager

Role Description
- Lead and evolve the organization’s IT operations and roadmap
- Oversee and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
- Manage and mentor IT staff, building a strong, scalable team
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards
- Champion cybersecurity best practices (MFA, endpoint protection, monitoring)
- Manage vendor relationships (internet, telecom, software providers)
- Oversee onboarding/offboarding and access management processes
- Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, reliability, and efficiency
- Own the IT budget, forecasting, and cost optimization efforts
- Lead technology projects and continuous system improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
- Maintain clear documentation of systems and processes
- Act as escalation point for complex technical issues
- Communicate IT initiatives and performance to executive leadership
- Foster a positive, service-first IT culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations or systems administration
- 2+ years in a leadership or senior-level role
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and security
- Proven experience managing vendors and leading IT projects
- Solid understanding of modern cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
